Winter can be very tough. After Christmas, there isn't that much to look forward to except getting cooped up in the house because it is too cold to stay outside. We recently started bowling again. One Sunday, my aunt and cousins invited us to go bowling at Baldwin Bowl. We were just hanging around the house so it sounded good to us. We had so much fun – it was one of my favorite days!
The following Sunday we went again, this time it was just my parents, Ryan, his friend Patrick and I. The bowling alley was empty – I think everyone was gearing up for the big Jets-Steelers football game – so we had our choice of lanes. My parents played on one lane and we played on the other. This time I wasn't as rusty but my Dad had a bit of a rough time – my mom kicked my dad's butt on both games. We consoled him by telling him everyone has a rough day. I can't wait to go bowling again.
